Northeast-10 Player of the Week

Shaun Leddy, Bryant (Jr., A, Sea Girt, NJ) - Tallied six goals and assisted on three others in a 2-0 week. Posted four goals in the win over Southern Connecticut. She had nine ground balls for the week and four draw controls.

Northeast-10 Goalkeeper of the Week

Lauren Stone, Stonehill (Sr., G, Guilderland, NY) - Recorded nine saves in the 12-8 victory at Division I Siena.

Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week

Alyssa Ritchie, Bentley (Fr., M, North Andover, MA) - Scored six goals and added three assists in her first two collegiate games. She scored three of Bentley's seven goals in the season opening loss to #4 West Chester. She followed with three goals and three assists in Saturday's the win at New Haven.

Northeast-10 Weekly Honor Roll:

Lauren Carlisle, Bryant (Jr., A, San Diego, CA) ? Registered eight goals and three assists last week. Had five goals in the win over New Haven and followed with three goals in a win over Southern Connecticut.

Ava Gottshall, Saint Michael's (Fr., A, Amherst, MA) - Scored four goals in a 2-0 week. Tallied a team-high three goals versus New Haven, and added a goal against Presbyterian.

Kristen Palazzo, Saint Michael's (Sr., A, Armonk, NY) - Tallied a team-high six goals in a 2-0 week. Scored a game-best four goals versus Presbyterian, and added a pair of goals against New Haven.

Erin Acone, Stonehill (Sr., M, Bow, NH) - Netted pair of goals and assist for three points in the victory at Siena. Kristin Darrell, Stonehill (So., M, West Islip, NY) - Netted pair of goals and three assists for five points in the win at Siena.

Mary Maloney, Stonehill (Fr., A, Great River, NY) - Notched pair of goals and assist for three points in the triumph at Siena.

Grace Martha, Southern Connecticut (Fr., M, Cheshire, CT) - Martha scored a pair of unassisted goals in the loss to Bryant.

Stonehill: Stonehill, the top-ranked team in IWLCA Division II national circles for the 10th consecutive week, ran its winning streak to 30 straight matches by posting its second straight victory over a Division I foe last week in besting Siena. Stonehill, which has collected three triumphs over Division I teams (Central Connecticut, Howard and Siena) in the last calendar year alone, now holds the fifth longest NCAA all-divisions winning streak and the top recorded mark in Division II history. Senior G Lauren Stone (Guilderland, N.Y.) notched her 28th straight victory dating back to April 2004 with a nine-save effort against Siena. Stonehill begins defense of its Northeast-10 crown on Tuesday afternoon with a league match at Bryant? Bryant: Bryant improved to 3-0 to start the season, earning a 21-6 win over New Haven last Wednesday in Florida and opened conference play Saturday with an 18-7 win over Southern Connecticut. Junior Shaun Leddy (Sea Girt, NJ) notched her 100th career goal in the team's win over Presbyterian last week. She had five in the win and added four more in Saturday's win over Southern Connecticut to give her 106 for her career? Saint Michael's: The Purple Knights went 2-0 on their spring break trip to West Palm Beach, Fla., as Saint Michael's outscored New Haven and Presbyterian by a combined score of 27-13. Saint Michael's will play the first lacrosse game on the College's brand-new Christopher Duffy Artificial Turf Field on Tuesday versus Merrimack at 4 p.m.
