Northeast-10 Player and Goalkeeper of the Week
Lauren Steinberg, Saint Rose (Sr., GK, Hopewell Junction, N.Y.) -
Recorded five saves and a shutout in a 2-0 week. Had a 0.50
goals-against-average having surrendered one goal in 180 minutes of
action. In the NE-10 semifinal victory over Merrimack, stopped two
shots to pick up a shutout. In the NE-10 final, turned aside three
shots to help the Golden Knights earn a 2-1 victory. Garnered NE-10
Tournament MVP honors.

Weekly Honor Roll:
Tricia Spada, Bryant (Sr., M, Dedham, Mass.) - Scored
Bryant’s lone goal in the NE-10 Conference Championship loss
to Saint Rose. The goal tied the game at 1-1.
Brittany Ester, Franklin Pierce (Jr., GK, Toms River, N.J.) - Made
eight saves in a 0-0 double-overtime draw with Bryant in the NE-10
semifinal.
Lindsay Bove, Saint Rose (Sr., M, Holliston, Mass.) - Registered
three points on one goal and one assist in a 2-0 week. Assisted on
the second goal in a 2-0 victory versus Merrimack in a NE-10
semifinal match. In the NE-10 title contest, netted the game-winner
with just over three minutes left to propel the Golden Knights to a
2-1 triumph over Bryant.
Sami Brown, Saint Rose (Jr., F, Richland, Wash.) - Recorded four
points on two goals in a 2-0 week. Had the second marker in a 2-0
victory over visiting Merrimack in an NE-10 semifinal match. In the
NE-10 final versus Bryant, got the Golden Knights on the board
first to help lead them to the victory.
Weekly Notes:
FRANKLIN PIERCE: Franklin Pierce makes its NCAA Division
II-record 16th-straight NCAA Tournament appearance. The Ravens have
captured 11-straight regional titles and have advanced to the
Division II Final Four a Division II-record 13 times.
SAINT ROSE: The Golden Knights won their first ever
Northeast-10 Conference Tournament title in any sport with a 2-1
victory over Bryant on Saturday. The win ended a seven-year drought
for Saint Rose after joining the NE-10 at the outset of the 2000
season. The Golden Knights set a single-season school record by
recording their 18th victory of the season.
