Northeast-10 Player of the Week

Sami Brown, Saint Rose (Jr., F, Richland, Wash.) - Tallied three goals in a 4-0 week. Scored in a 4-1 win over Bentley, registered the game's lone tally in a 1-0 victory over Stonehill, and converted a one-on-one opportunity to help guide Saint Rose to a 3-0 triumph over Assumption.

Northeast-10 Goalkeeper of the Week

Lauren Steinberg, Saint Rose (Sr., GK, Hopewell Junction, N.Y.) – Recorded a shutout and went 4-0 during the week. Did not yield a goal in nearly 275 minutes. Had a shutout against Stonehill and recorded one save in a 3-0 win over Assumption.

Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week

Angelika Johansson, Franklin Pierce (Fr., F, Falkenberg, Sweden) - In a 2-0 week, had four goals for eight points. Netted a hat trick in a 4-1 victory at Merrimack. Also contributed a goal in the 3-1 win at Southern New Hampshire.

Weekly Honor Roll:


Kim Rich, Bryant (Fr., F, Lancaster, Mass.) - Scored a goal and added an assist in a 3-1 win over Bridgeport.

Mackenzie Bulych, Franklin Pierce (So., F, Regina, Saskatchewan) - In a 2-0 week, had a goal and two assists. Posted a goal and assist in a victory at Merrimack. Assisted on the match-winning goal at Southern New Hampshire.

Gabriela Demoner, Franklin Pierce (Sr., M, Curitiba, Brazil) - Notched a goal and two assists for four points on the week. Dished two assists in the victory at Merrimack. Netted the opening goal the 3-1 win at Southern New Hampshire.

Brittany Ester, Franklin Pierce (Jr., GK, Toms River, N.J.) - Posted a 0.73 GAA and .833 save percentage, while averaging 2.5 saves per match in a 2-0 week.

Christina Harrison, Le Moyne (So., F, Jamesville, N.Y.) - Recorded one goal and one assist in a 0-2 week.

Jamie Gillis, UMass Lowell (So., GK, North Billerica, Mass.) - Posted a shutout with one save in a 2-0 victory over Pace.

Molly Cole, Saint Michael's (Sr., GK, Dover, N.H.) - Registered wins, against American International and Le Moyne. Made seven saves in the overtime win over Le Moyne.

Carissa Gildea, Saint Michael's (Fr., F, Enfield, Conn.) - Recorded two goals and two assists in a 2-0 week. Tallied one goal and two assists at American International. Scored a goal that forced overtime in a 2-1 win at Le Moyne.

Kelley Ruch, Saint Michael's (Jr., F, Woodstock, Vt.) - Scored three goals including the overtime game-winner in a 2-1 decision with Le Moyne. Scored two goals against American International.

Jaclyn Evans, Saint Rose (Fr., M, Georgetown, Mass.) - Registered one goal and two assists during a 4-0 week.

Katie Didio, Southern Connecticut (Fr., GK, Vernon, Conn.) - Made four saves while posting a shutout in the 1-0 win over Pace. Made five more saves while allowing only one goal in the 2-1 victory against American International.

Laurie Boland, Southern New Hampshire (Sr., M, Worcester, Mass.) - Tallied three goals in a 1-1 week. Notched two goals in a 3-0 win over UMass Lowell, then had the lone goal in a 3-1 setback to Franklin Pierce.

Alex Eckhardt, Stonehill (Sr., GK, Marshfield, Mass.) - Had seven saves and notched a shutout in the 3-0 win over Bentley. Also had nine saves against Saint Rose.

Kirstie St. Martin, Stonehill (Fr., F, Lincoln, R.I.) - Scored two goals in the 3-0 win over Bentley.

Weekly Notes:

BRYANT: The Bulldogs remain unbeaten after 14 games this season with just two ties as Bryant is enjoying its best start to a season in the program's history.

SAINT ROSE:
Saint Rose had its seven-match consecutive shutout streak come to a halt on Tuesday in a 4-1 victory over Bentley. The seven scoreless matches established a school record, surpassing the previous mark of six scoreless outings set by the 2005 and 2006 squads. The Golden Knights are also undefeated (10-0-1) following their first 11 matches for the first time in school history. Senior keeper Lauren Steinberg picked up her 36th career victory on Saturday, establishing a school record for career wins.
