Northeast-10 Player of the Week
Sacha Solomon, Bryant (So., No. 1 Singles, Bourne, MA) – Led Bryant to its second-straight conference tournament title, winning all three no. 1 singles matches during the tournament plus all three doubles matches.
Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week
Michelle Burke, Bryant (Fr., No. 4 Singles, Barrington, RI) - Picked up a 6-4, 6-3 win over Stonehill at No. 4 singles to help clinch the Northeast-10 Conference title championship. Also earned a win at no. 3 doubles.
Northeast-10 Weekly Honor Roll:
CoCo Minott, Franklin Pierce (Fr., No. 1 Singles, Pennsburg, PA) - Registered both team points at Merrimack. Collected wins at no. 1 singles and doubles.
Elizabeth Clemente, Saint Michael's (So., No. 4 Singles, Latham, NY) - Went a combined 3-0 in the NE-10 Tournament. In the quarterfinals against Merrimack, had an 8-1 win in No. 2 doubles and sealed the win with a 6-4, 6-1 victory in No. 4 singles. In the semifinals at Bryant, earned an 8-6 win in No. 2 doubles.
Juliet Verhofstad, Southern New Hampshire (Fr., No. 1 Singles, Plymouth, NH) - Went 1-1 at both No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles during the week. Posted non-league wins over Plymouth State.
Jennifer Arcabascio, Stonehill (Jr., No. 3 Singles, Salem, NH) - Posted 4-1 combined mark in 2-1 week, including pair of wins in both singles and doubles action in 5-1 quarterfinal round victory over Assumption and 5-0 semi-final round triumph over Le Moyne.
Daniella Granato, Stonehill (Fr., No. 6 Singles, Concord, MA) - Posted 3-1 combined mark in singles and doubles action in 2-1 week, including wins in singles and doubles play in 5-1 quarterfinal round triumph over Assumption. Notched win at no. 2 doubles spot in 5-0 semi-final round win over Le Moyne.
Ashley Todd, Stonehill (Jr., No. 2 Singles, Weymouth, MA) - Posted 3-1 combined mark in singles and doubles play in 2-1 week, including pair of victories in 5-0 semi-final round triumph over Le Moyne.

Bryant: Bryant won its second-straight conference tournament title with a 5-0 win over Stonehill College Sunday. Sacha Solomon (Bourne, Mass.) was named the conference player of the year for the second-straight year and came through with a solid 6-3, 6-0 win over Stonehill's Karen McAuley in Sunday's final at No. 1 … Stonehill: Stonehill advanced to the title match of the Northeast-10 Championships for the second time in three seasons, as both of the Chieftains' setbacks this spring have come at the hands to league champion Bryant...Stonehill reached the 13-win plateau in a season for the second time in three seasons...Freshman Daniella Granato (Concord, Mass.) remained perfect in singles play with a quarterfinal round win over Assumption, as she is a combined 26-2 in singles and doubles action this season … Saint Michael's: Senior co-captain Shannon Bergin (Milford, Conn.) completed her four-year career on Saturday as the program's all-time winningest player. She went 47-7 in singles play and 44-11 in doubles action for a 91-18 career record (.835 winning percentage)… Le Moyne: With a 5-4 upset of No. 3 seed Bentley, Le Moyne earned its first trip to the Northeast-10 Conference semifinals since the championship took on its current format… Southern New Hampshire: Freshman Juliet Verhofstad (Plymouth, NH) was named NE-10 Freshman of the Year. She has established a new program record for singles wins in a year (10) following a straight set win at No. 1 singles Friday vs. Plymouth State. The previous record of nine was set by Joanne Piazza in 1986. Fellow rookie Amanda Nason (Center Sandwich, NH) picked up her ninth singles win of the year at Plymouth State. SNHU made its first-ever appearance in the NE-10 Tournament and has established a new program-record for wins in a season (6), breaking the previous mark of four set in 1989.
