Northeast-10 Player of the Week
Michelle Burke, Bryant (So., No. 6, Barrington, RI) ? Posted a strong weekend showing at the NCAA Division II Regional Tournament, winning a pair of matches in Bryant's second-round loss. Picked up a win at No. 6 singles in straight sets against regional champ Kutztown and also earned a win at No. 3 doubles as she factored in both Bryant points.
Northeast-10 Weekly Honor Roll:
Sacha Solomon, Bryant (Jr., No. 1, Bourne, MA) - Helped lead Bryant to the NCAA second round with a pair of wins in the team's first round win over Philadelphia at the NCAA regional. Opened with a win at No. 1 doubles with teammate Annette Jervasi and followed with a straight set win at No. 1 singles.

Bryant: The Bryant women's tennis team advanced to the second round of the NCAA Division II tournament for the second-straight only to fall to Kutztown (Pa.) 5-2 on Saturday. For the first time in school history, Bryant hosted the regional tournament at the new Tennis Court facility. The Bulldogs opened the tournament. The Bulldogs earned a 5-1 win in the first round, defeating Philadelphia University on Friday as Sacha Solomon (Bourne, MA), Annette Jervasi (Colchester, Conn.) and Alanna Santanello (North Providence, RI) all earned wins in singles play. In Saturday's match with Kutztown, sophomore Michelle Burke (Barrington, RI) picked up a win at No. 6 singles in straight sets and also was victorious with teammate Lauren Mullen (Braintree, Mass.) at No. 3 doubles. Bryant, the three-time Northeast-10 Conference champions, conclude the season at 17-4? Stonehill: Stonehill made its second straight appearance and third in the last four seasons in the NCAA championships, as the Skyhawks advanced to the East Regionals after concluding the best season in school history with a school-record 17 victories and their first outright Northeast-10 regular season title in 14 years.
