Northeast-10 Player of the Week

Tirzah Walrath, Le Moyne (So., No.1 Singles, Cortland, N.Y.) - Improved her career singles record to 18-0 with a 6-2, 6-0 win in No. 1 singles. Was also part of an 8-1 victory in No. 1 doubles in a 5-4 victory over Southern New Hampshire.


Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week

Deahna Giguere, Saint Michael's (Fr., No. 1, Oakland, Maine) - Won singles in straight sets 6-0, 6-1 and won doubles 8-2 to lead Saint Michael's to a 9-0 shutout of Plymouth State.

Weekly Honor Roll:

Michelle Burke, Bryant (Sr., No. 2 Singles, Barrington, R.I.) - Won at No. 2 singles in straight sets, 6-0, 6-0 and added a win at No. 1 doubles in a 8-1 team win over Saint Rose.

Michelle Wood, Saint Michael's (Sr., No. 3, Chatham, N.Y.) - Won singles match in straight sets 6-2, 6-3 and her doubles contest 9-8(3) to help Saint Michael's earn a 9-0 sweep of Plymouth State.

Rebecca Moon, Saint Rose (Fr., No. 1 Singles, Rancho Mirage, Calif.) – Picked up the victory in a three set marathon at Bryant this past weekend. After dropping the first set 2-6, rallied to take the final two sets by scores of 7-5 and 10-8.
