Northeast-10 Player of the Week
Amber Chandronnait, Southern New Hampshire (So., No. 1
Singles/Doubles, Bow, N.H.) - Posted a pair of 6-0, 6-0 singles
victories against Stonehill and Assumption, and also posted a 8-0
win at No. 1 doubles against the Golden Knights.
Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week
Amy Toegemann, Stonehill (Fr., No. 2 Singles/No. 1 Doubles,
Narragansett, R.I.) - Went 2-1 at No. 2 singles, including a 6-0,
6-0 victory in the team’s win versus Pace. Also went 4-0 at
No. 1 doubles.
Weekly Honor Roll:
Tirzah Walrath, Le Moyne (Jr., No.1 Singles/Doubles, Cortland,
N.Y.) - Posted a 6-0, 6-4 victory at number one singles to lead Le
Moyne in a 5-4 loss at Saint Anselm. Teamed for an 8-2 win at first
doubles.
Amanda Carroll, Merrimack (So., No. 3 Singles/No. 1 Doubles,
Tewksbury, Mass.) - Picked up three wins in four singles matches
this past week to go with two doubles victories.
Chelsea Annese, New Haven (So., ,No. 4 Singles/No. 2 Doubles,
Topsham, Maine) - Won her #4 singles match (6-0, 6-0) and #2 double
match (8-0) in the team’s win over American
International.
Leah Smith, New Haven (Jr., No. 3 Singles/No. 2 Doubles, Bristol,
Conn.) - Won her #3 singles match (6-0, 6-0) and #2 double match
(8-0) in the team’s win over American International.
Natalija Subotic, Pace (Sr., No. 1 Singles/ Doubles, Bradenton,
Fla.) - Won at #1 singles 6-1, 6-1 against Stonehill.
Amanda Brahm, Saint Anselm (Fr., No. 6 Singles/No. 3 Doubles,
Middleton, Conn.) - Went 4-0 this past weekend in No. 3 doubles and
No. 6 singles in the team’s 5-4 win over Le Moyne and 9-0
victory over Saint Rose. In the 5-4 win over Le Moyne, won 7-6
(7-1), 6-3.
Lindsay Horne, Saint Michael's (Jr., No. 1/2 Singles/No. 1 Doubles,
Scituate, Mass.) - In a 3-2 week in Hilton Head, South Carolina,
collected three wins at No. 1 doubles, two wins at No. 1 singles,
and one win at No. 2 singles. In a 5-0 win over Fairmont State,
recorded wins at No. 2 doubles and No. 2 singles.
Eileen Mullowney, Saint Michael's (Fr., No. 5 Singles/No. 2
Doubles, Burlington, Vt.) - In a 3-2 week in Hilton Head, South
Carloina, totaled three wins at No. 5 singles and four wins at No.
2 doubles. In a 9-0 victory over Lenoir-Rhyne, won her No. 5
singles and No. 2 doubles matches in the shutout victory.
Sarah Hickey, Stonehill (Fr., No. 5 Singles/No. 3 Doubles, Lee,
Mass.) - Went 3-0 in No. 5 singles without losing a set, including
a 6-0, 6-0 victory in the team win over Pace. Also went 3-0 in
doubles action as the Skyhawks won four matches during the week.
