Northeast-10 Co-Players of the Week

Rebecca Moon, Saint Rose (So., No. 1 Singles/Doubles, Rancho Mirage, Calif.) - Recorded a pair of victories over Bentley and New Haven this past weekend. Took a 6-0, 6-1 decision against the Falcons from the top spot and was a 6-0, 3-0, retired winner against New Haven. Also chalked up a pair of victories at first doubles to go perfect in the two matches. She was an 8-0 winner against the Chargers and helped defeat Bentley 8-4.

Lindsey Herchel, Stonehill (So, No. 1 Singles/No. 1 Doubles, Hampden, Mass.) - Went 2-0 at No. 1 singles, including a 7-5, 6-1 win against Division I Holy Cross, in which she came back from a 1-5 deficit in the first set. Also won at No. 1 doubles against Holy Cross, 8-2, and Franklin Pierce 8-4.

Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week

Amy Toegeman, Stonehill (Fr., No. 2 Singles/No. 1 Doubles, Narragansett, R.I.) - Went 4-0 this past week in No. 2 singles and No. 1 doubles, including a 6-2, 6-4 win in singles and a 8-2 win in doubles against Division I Holy Cross.

Weekly Honor Roll:

Marissa Charles, Assumption (Fr., No. 4 Singles/ No. 3 Doubles, ) - In a match against Franklin Pierce won at both positions. At No. 4 singles recorded a 6-2, 6-0 victory and at No. 3 doubles paired with Melissa Ferry to win 8-1.

Melissa Ferry, Assumption (Fr., No. 2 Singles/No. 3 Doubles, Cumberland, R.I.) - In a match against Franklin Pierce won in both No. 2 singles and No. 3 doubles. In No. 2 singles won 6-3, 6-0 and won No. 3 doubles 8-1.

Samantha Jean, Assumption (Fr., No. 3 Singles/ No. 1 Doubles, Bedford, N.H.) - In a match over Franklin Pierce won at No. 3 singles, 6-4, 6-1 and at No. 1 doubles paired with Jennifer Erickson to win 8-3.

Jennifer Erickson, Assumption (Fr., No. 1 Singles/ No. 1 Doubles, Simsbury, Conn.) - In a match against Franklin Pierce, won her No. 1 singles match 6-1, 6-1, and her No. 1 doubles match 8-3.

Heather Haggerty, Bentley (Sr., No. 2 Singles/No. 1 Doubles, Hanover, Mass.) - Went 2-2 this past week with team wins versus Saint Rose and Pace. Was 1-1 in number two singles and 1-1 in number one doubles. Won both matches in the 8-1 team win versus Pace.

Kara Murphy, Bentley (Fr., No. 5 Singles/No. 3 Doubles, Worcester, Pa.) – Finished 4-0 this past week in team wins versus Saint Rose and Pace. Was 2-0 in number five singles and 2-0 in number three doubles.

Drew Alexander, Franklin Pierce (Fr., No. 2 Doubles, Long Beach, N.Y.) - Teamed with Lauren Smilovich to win the No. 2 doubles match against Assumption, 8-6.

Lauren Smilovich, Franklin Pierce (So., No. 2 Doubles, Meriden, Conn.) - Teamed with Drew Alexander to win the No. 2 doubles match against Assumption, 8-6.

Allison Cohen, Le Moyne (Jr., No. 2 Singles/No. 1 Doubles, Fayetteville, N.Y.) - Registered a 3-1 record in a 1-1 week. Picked up an 8-4 win at number one doubles in the 7-2 loss to Southern New Hampshire. Registered a 6-0, 6-0 win at second singles and an 8-1 win at first doubles in the 6-3 victory over New Haven.

Caroline Tisdell, Le Moyne (Fr., No. 3 Singles/No. 2 Doubles, Syracuse, N.Y.) - Registered a 2-2 record in the team’s 1-1 weekend. Registered a 6-0, 6-0 win at third singles and an 8-5 win at second doubles in the 6-3 victory over New Haven.

Catalina Echeverry, Southern New Hampshire (So., No. 2 Singles/Doubles, Cali, Colombia) - Posted wins at No. 2 singles and doubles in a win over Le Moyne.

Alison Waring, Southern New Hampshire (Jr., No. 4 Singles/No. 2 Doubles, Westboro, Mass.) - Posted a pair of victories at No. 4 singles and No. 2 doubles in a win over Le Moyne.
