Northeast-10 Men’s Athlete of the Week
Jacob Edwards, Southern Connecticut (So., Stonington, CT) - Edwards finished fourth at the Connecticut College Invitational with a time of 25:22. The sophomore helped Southern placed second behind Yale in the 30-team invitational.

Kelly Chaisson, Stonehill (Sr., Walpole, MA) - Finished seventh individually for Skyhawks at Connecticut College Invitational with time of 19:00 over 5K layout
Northeast-10 Men’s Freshman of the Week
Chris Croff, Southern Connecticut (Fr., Lisbon, CT) - In helping Southern to a second-place finish behind Yale in the 30-team Connecticut College Invitational, Croff placed 21st among 388 runners with a time of 25:54.
Northeast-10 Women’s Freshman of the Week
Andrea Topalis, Stonehill (Fr., Simsbury, CT) - Placed 27th individually in first collegiate race for Skyhawks at Connecticut College Invitational, posting time of 19:38 over 5K layout.
Weekly Honor Roll:
Tom Casey, Bryant (So., New Windsor, NY) - Was top finisher at Saturday's Connecticut College Invitational, finishing in a time of 27:48 to place 104th.
Thomas Lichtenberger, Saint Michael's (Sr., Bloomfield, CT) - Placed fourth out of 85 finishers at the Cardinal Classic, hosted by Plattsburgh State. Ran the 8K course in 27:49.
Joe Coleman, Saint Rose (Fr., Albany, NY) - Took 15th place in a time of 30:32 over the 8K terrain at Saratoga Springs State Park.
Brad Lewis, Saint Rose (Jr., Troy, NY) - Paced the Saint Rose men with a third-place finish with a 28:08 clocking. Was 14 seconds behind the winning time to help men’s team finished in second place at the event.
Fred Wills, Southern New Hampshire (Gr., Stratford, CT) - Placed third out of 39 runners and led SNHU to the team title at the Castleton State College Invitational with a time of 28:34.
Keith Gill, Stonehill (Jr., Brockton, MA) - Placed seventh individually at the Connecticut College Invitational with time of 25:34 over 8K layout.
David Metzger, Stonehill (Jr., Ellington, CT) - Posted an 11th place individual performance at the Connecticut College Invitational with time of 25:40 over 8K layout.
Nicole Radzik, Bryant (Jr., Sutton, MA) - Placed 43rd overall in leading Bryant to a 17th place finish at the Connecticut College Invitational this past weekend in Waterford, CT. Finished in a time of 19 minutes, 56 seconds.
Mary Lynn Denholm, Saint Michael's (So., Sparks, MD) - Placed second at the Cardinal Classic, hosted by Plattsburgh State, to lead Saint Michael's to a second-place finish. Ran the 6K course in 23:29, more than a minute ahead of the third-place runner.
Melissa Bredice, Saint Rose (Fr., Colonie, NY) - Took third place out of 35 runners, covering the 5K course in 20:24 at Saratoga Springs State Parl.
Joanne Smith, Saint Rose (So., Monroe, NY) - Crossed the line in second place in a time of 20:11, just eight seconds off the winning pace over the 5K course at Saratoga Springs State Park. Led women’s team to a first place showing in a tri-meet with Union College and Hamilton College.
Joy Osahon, Southern Connecticut (Fr., East Hartford, CT) - At the Connecticut College Invitational, placed 53rd among 325 individuals in the 5K race with a time of 20:11 as Southern finished 14th among the 27 competing teams. She was the Owls' top finisher.
Svea Della-Messner, Southern New Hampshire (So., Windham, NH) - Placed third out of 36 runners and led SNHU to a second place showing at the Castleton State College Invitational with a time of 23:20.
Dana DeIngenis, Stonehill (Sr., Cranston, RI) - Posted an eighth place individual finish at the Connecticut College Invitational with time of 19:02 over 5K layout.
Weekly Notes: STONEHILL: The Stonehill men earned their first-ever pre-season Division II top 10 ranking in checking in at the #10 spot in the USTFCAAA national poll.
