Northeast-10 Men’s Athlete of the Week
Stephan Ramirez, Bentley (Sr., San Antonio, Texas) - Running his
first cross country race in 22 months, finished first in a dual
meet loss to Brandeis with a time of 20:02 for 6,000 meters.
Northeast-10 Co-Women’s Athletes of the Week
Melissa Nash, Bentley (Jr., Marshfield, Mass.) - Opened her junior
year with a winning performance in a dual meet win over Brandeis,
posting a time of 15:59 for 4,000 meters.
Melissa Bredice, Saint Rose (So., Colonie, N.Y.) - Crossed the line
first at the Harry Lang Invitational. Covered the 6k layout in a
personal-best time of 25:09 to lead the Golden Knights to a first
place tie for top team honors.
Northeast-10 Men’s Freshman of the Week
Dan O’Connell, Bentley (Fr., Medfield, Mass.) - Finished
third in a dual meet with Brandeis, posting a time of 20:18 for
6,000 meters.
Northeast-10 Women’s Freshman of the Week
Meaghan Lucie, Saint Rose (Fr., West Islip, N.Y.) - At the Harry
Lang Invitational, finished in fourth place with a time of 25:40,
just 31 seconds behind the winner.
Weekly Honor Roll:
Lauren Lesniak, Bentley (Fr., Dracut, Mass.) - Finished second in a
dual meet against Brandeis, with a 4,000-meter time of 16:06.
Brad Lewis, Saint Rose (Sr., Troy, N.Y.) – Led the men's
squad at the Harry Lang Invitational with an 11th place finish.
Covered the layout in 20:31.
