Northeast-10 Men’s Athlete of the Week

Mark Garcia, UMass Lowell (Jr., Everett, Mass.) - Won the individual title and led UMass Lowell to second place at the Keene State Invitational. Posted a time of 26:25 for the five-mile course.

Northeast-10 Women’s Athlete of the Week

Mary Lynn Denholm, Saint Michael's (Jr., Sparks, Md.) - Placed seventh overall to lead the Saint Michael’s to a second-place finish in the Vermont Intercollegiate Championship. Earned All-State honors and guided the team past Division I University of Vermont.

Northeast-10 Men’s Freshman of the Week

Geovanni Timberlake, UMass Lowell (Fr., Brockton, Mass.) - Placed 16th overall and 14th among scoring runners at the Keene State Invitational. Posted a time of 27:49 for the five-mile course and helped lead UMass Lowell to second place.

Northeast-10 Women’s Freshman of the Week

Sarah Bonomo, UMass Lowell (Fr., Tewksbury, Mass.) - Placed eighth overall and seventh among scoring runners at the Keene State Invitational. Posted a time of 20:08 for the 5K course and helped lead UMass Lowell to fourth place.

Weekly Honor Roll:

Chris O'Day, Assumption (So., Braintree, Mass.) - Placed a team-best 10th (third among NE-10 runners) at the Keene State Invitational, coming in with a career-best 8k time of 27:38.

Enrick Garcia, Pace (Jr., Moriches, N.Y.) - Won the Lehman College Lightning Invitational with a time of 28:20.

Matt Alexander, Saint Michael's (Jr., Richmond, Vt.) - Finished in 14th place to lead Saint Michael's to a fifth-place showing at the Vermont Intercollegiate Championship. Received All-State honors in the process.

Alex Brown , Southern New Hampshire (Jr., Hudson, N.H.) - Posted a school record time of 27:47 to finish 13th overall at the Pop Crowell Invitational.
