Northeast-10 Men’s Athlete of the Week

Stephen DeWitt, UMass Lowell (Gr., Ellsworth, Maine) - Placed second overall and led UMass Lowell to second in the team standings at the NCAA Northeast Regional Championship. Ran the 10K course in 32:03.4.

Northeast-10 Women’s Athlete of the Week

Nicole Radzik, Bryant (Sr., Sutton, Mass.) - Captured the NCAA Northeast Regional Individual Title, winning the regional race in a time of 22 minutes, 43 seconds. She will advance to the NCAA National Championship for the second year in a row.

Northeast-10 Men’s Freshman of the Week

Kevin Gill, Stonehill (Fr., Brockton, Mass.) – Finished in seventh place at the NCAA Northeast Regional with a time of 32:37 leading Stonehill to the team title.

Northeast-10 Women’s Freshman of the Week

Kelly O’Toole, Stonehill (Fr., Nashua, N.H.) – Finished fifth overall at the NCAA Northeast Regional with a time of 23:09 in helping Stonehill claim the overall team title.

Weekly Honor Roll:

Brooke Perron, Assumption (Sr., Hubbardston, Mass.) - Finished a team-best 11th at the NCAA Northeast Regional meet, with a time of 23:50.1.

Melissa Nash, Bentley (Jr., Marshfield, Mass.) - Earned a second straight trip to the NCAA Division II Championships by finishing second in the Northeast Regional with a time of 22:54.6 for 6,000 meters.

Stephan Ramirez, Bentley (Sr., San Antonio, Texas) - Qualified for the NCAA Division II Championships by finishing sixth in the Northeast Regional with a time of 32:31.7 for 10,000 meters.

Jake McAndrew, Le Moyne (So., Oswego, N.Y.) - Placed 13th among 140 runners at the NCAA Regionals with a time 33:03.7.

Jack Kilcommons, UMass Lowell (So., South Boston, Mass.) - Placed 15th overall and helped guide UMass Lowell to second in the team standings Saturday at the NCAA Northeast Regional Championship. Ran the 10K course in 33:11.0 and earned a spot on the All-Northeast Region Team.

Ruben Sanca, UMass Lowell (Jr., Boston, Mass.) - Placed third overall and led UMass Lowell to second in the team standings at the NCAA Northeast Regional Championship. Ran the 10K course in 32:08.1 and earned All-Northeast Region honors for the third straight year.
Lyra Clark, UMass Lowell (Fr., Nashua, N.H.) - Placed eighth overall and led UMass Lowell to second in the team standings at the NCAA Northeast Regional Championship. Ran the 6K course in 23:17.8 to earn a spot on the NCAA All-Northeast Region Team.

Amanda Sousa, UMass Lowell (Sr., Peabody, Mass.) - Placed 10th overall and led UMass Lowell to second in the team standings at the NCAA Northeast Regional Championship. Ran the 6K course 23:35.0 and earned All-Northeast Region honors for the second time in three years.

Joey DeWitt, UMass Lowell (Sr., Ellsworth, Maine) - Placed eighth overall and helped lead UMass Lowell to second in the team standings at the NCAA Northeast Region Championship. Covered the 10K course in 32:40.9 and earned All-Northeast Region honors for the second straight year.

Mary Lynn Denholm, Saint Michael's (Jr., Spark, Md.) - Led Saint Michael's to a eighth place finish at the NCAA Regionals, finishing 12th out of 128 runners, completing the six-kilometer course in 23:54.5.

Joseph Poulsen, Southern Connecticut (Fr., Oxford, Conn.) - Finished 9th overall out of 140 runners in the NCAA Northeast Regional; was the second freshman to finish.

Leslie Clunie, Stonehill (Sr., Newburyport, Mass.) – Finished sixth overall at the NCAA Northeast Regional with a time of 23:12 as Stonehill claimed the overall team title.

Kristina Coriaty, Stonehill (Jr., Brockton, Mass.) – Finished third overall at the NCAA Northeast Regional as Stonehill claimed the overall team title.

David Metzger, Stonehill (Sr., Ellington, Conn.) – Finished fourth overall at the NCAA Northeast Regional with a time of 32:17 as Stonehill claimed the overall team title.

Joe Ryan, Stonehill (Sr., Chelmsford, Mass.) – Finished fifth overall at the NCAA Northeast Regional with a time of 32:28 in leading Stonehill to the overall team title.

Weekly Notes:

BENTLEY: Junior Melissa Nash (Marshfield, Mass.) and senior Stephan Ramirez (San Antonio, Texas) both qualified for the NCAA Division II nationals with their performance in the Northeast Regional Saturday. Nash finished second for the second straight year to earn a return trip to the nationals while Ramirez will be making his first trip. It'll be the tenth consecutive year that Bentley has had at least one runner compete at the NCAA Division II Cross Country Championships.

UMASS LOWELL:
Upheld a pair of traditions with the men and women's second-place results Saturday at the NCAA Northeast Region Championship. The River Hawk men earned their eighth straight invitation to the NCAA Championship while the women advanced for the fifth consecutive year.

SAINT ROSE:
The Saint Rose women's team recorded its best finish ever at the NCAA Northeast Regional Championships on Sunday. The Golden Knights took sixth out of 18 complete teams at the event.
