South Easton, Mass. - The Northeast-10 Conference has announced the members of the 2005 Womens Soccer All-Academic Teams. To be eligible for selection to the academic teams, a student-athlete must have met and/or exceeded the following minimum requirements: 1) participated in at least half of the teams competitions and be either a starter or significant contributor; 2) achieved a 3.2 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale); and 3) completed at least one academic year at his/her current institution. The Northeast-10 All-Academic Teams are chosen by a vote of the Northeast-10 Sports Information Directors.
The Northeast-10 is one of the largest and is the most diverse NCAA Division II playing conference in the nation. It sponsors 23 championship sports including baseball, mens basketball, womens basketball, mens cross country, womens cross country, football, field hockey, mens golf, mens ice hockey, mens lacrosse, womens lacrosse, mens soccer, womens soccer, mens indoor track and field, womens indoor track and field, mens outdoor track and field, womens outdoor track and field, mens tennis, womens tennis, softball, womens volleyball, mens swimming and diving, and womens swimming and diving
