Adelphi is Top NE10 Finisher at No. 19 Overall

 Learfield Directors’ Cup Final Standings

MANSFIELD, Mass. – Six Northeast-10 Conference member institutions finished in the top 100 of the final Learfield Directors’ Cup standings following the completion of the 2017 spring season. All fifteen NE10 schools collected points to appear on the list, including six in the top 100 nationally.

The Learfield Directors’ Cup was developed as a joint effort between the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and USA Today. Points are awarded based on each institution’s finish in up to 14 sports in Division II – seven men’s and seven women’s.

Perennial power Grand Valley State captured their 12th Directors' Cup title as the Lakers posted 1020 points.

NE10 Presidents’ Cup winner Adelphi was the conference’s top finisher, coming in at No. 19 overall with a total of 509 points. For the second straight year, Merrimack was the NE10’s second-highest finisher, ranking 37th overall.
