Southern Connecticut and Southern New Hampshire Earn Top Seeds for Upcoming NE10 Baseball Championship



First Round Begins Tuesday

MANSFIELD, Mass. – Southern Connecticut and Southern New Hampshire earned the top seeds in the 2017 Northeast-10 Conference Baseball Championship, which is scheduled to get underway Tuesday.

For the complete seedings as well as the schedule for the championship, please see below. The Penmen are the defending NE10 Champions, as they claimed their second conference title last year.

The 2017 NE10 Championship begins Tuesday with first-round contests. The highest seed remaining out of the Southwest Division after the first round will host the NE10 Championship Weekend, which is scheduled for Thursday, May 11 through Saturday, May 13.

Southern Connecticut picked to finish fifth prior to the start of the season by the league's head coaches finished with a 14-4 record in southwest divisional play, while Southern New Hampshire posted a 20-1 record in northeast division play.
