FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
NEW LONDON, N.H. - Bentley's Robert Falconer, pictured above, shot a 70 during Day One of the 2017 Northeast-10 Conference Men's Golf Championship at Lake Sunapee Country Club to help lead the Falcons to the top spot. Bentley, which last claimed the NE10 title in 2014, is looking for their sixth title overall. The two-day event culminates Tuesday afternoon Falconer's teammate Cal Meyers was one of four student-athletes to shoot a 71, to help Bentley - which posted a 289 as a team - claim a three-shot advantage heading into Day Two.

Saint Anselm currently sits in second place, as the Hawks posted a 292 thanks to three players posting identical scores of 71. Alec Brunelle, Stephen Hunt, and Tad Link each posted matching one-over pars during Monday's play.
Assumption and Franklin Pierce posted a team score of 298 and are tied for third following Monday's play, while Le Moyne stands in fifth having shot a 299 as a team.
