MANSFIELD, Mass. - The top four seeds in the 2016 NE-10 Men's Soccer Championship all posted victories earlier today setting up a powerhouse Semifinal Round, which will take place Friday.

GARDEN CITY, N.Y. - A goal in the first minute of play helped lift top-seeded Adelphi to a 1-0 victory against eighth-seeded Southern Connecticut State in the Northeast-10 Conference Championship Quarterfinal earlier this evening.
With just 47 seconds gone by to start tonight's opening round contest, the Brown and Gold were able to jump ahead and hold onto the lead for the remaining 89 minutes. James Thristino played a ball inside the right side of the 18-yard box for Florent Girardin to finish inside the right post.
Adelphi will host Franklin Pierce in one Semifinal match Friday.

NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. - The second-seeded Warriors got a goal in each half to defeat the seventh-seeded Yellow Jackets in NE-10 Championship Quarterfinal action earlier tonight.
Merrimack's Joseph Briers scored in the 13th minute, and Jaime Cortes Torres provided an insurance goal midway through the second half sending the Warriors on to Friday's Semifinal Round. They'll host Le Moyne in that game.

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Freshman forward Salar Faryar scored early in the first half as Le Moyne defeated Assumption, 1-0, in the Quarterfinals of the Northeast-10 Conference Championship on Tuesday afternoon at Ted Grant Field.
The Dolphins, who hosted a game in the conference championships and won a game in the conference championships for the first time since the 2011 season, advance to the Northeast-10 semifinals for the eighth time in the program's 21 years in the league.

RINDGE, N.H. - Franklin Pierce ended the NE-10 Quarterfinal showdown 2:53 into the second extra session when Hamish Cadigan's free kick from 40 yards out on the right side sailed into the left side of the box, where Charlie Madden was able get a head on it and send it into the top-right corner of the net.
Southern New Hampshire needed just 8:18 to find the scoreboard at the beginning of the match as graduate student Ryan Simpson tapped a pass outside the box to Enzo Giuliani who hit a one-timer into the back of the net that made it 1-0.
Franklin Pierce would find the equalizer midway through the 24th minute off a corner kick when Jacob Blixt's service was headed in by Jordan Barnett to even the match at 1-all.
