Third-seeded Le Moyne won in thrilling fashion, while fourth-seeded Southern New Hampshire's offensive firepower was on full disply during the opening round of the 2017 Northeast-10 Conference Softball Championship. Here's how day one played out -

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Freshman catcher Ally Nicolosi blasted a walk-off three-run home run to give the third-seeded Le Moyne a 6-4 victory over fourth-seeded New Haven in the first round of the NE10 Conference Championships on Tuesday afternoon at the Thomas J. Niland Athletic Complex.
With the victory, the Dolphins advance to the second round of the NE10 Championships and will take on the Northeast Division's second seed, Saint Anselm, on Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at Merrimack, which earned hosting rights by winning the Northeast Division.
Junior righty Alexis Eastman recorded her 19th win of the season after striking out six over seven innings, while yielding four runs on five hits. Megan Butts took the loss for the Chargers, just her eighth of the season, but third in the last five days to the Dolphins, after allowing six runs and nine hits over six and one-third innings.

WORCESTER, Mass. - Sophomore Erin Garczynski finished 3-for-4 with two RBI and two runs scored while junior Sarah Lavallee went 3-for-5 with four RBI Tuesday, as Southern New Hampshire, seeded fourth in the Northeast Division, advanced to the NE10 Conference Championship final weekend with a 10-4 victory over Northeast Division three seed Assumption.
Senior Devan Rabidou tallied a career-high three hits in five at-bats and scored three times and junior Brittany Perdigao was 3-for-3 with an RBI and three runs scored for the Penmen, who rapped out 15 hits in the victory.
Freshman Maddy Barone earned the win in the circle for Southern New Hampshire after allowing just one hit in three innings of shutout relief. Senior Nicole Gubellini fired the first four innings and fanned three while scattering six hits and allowing four runs.
